Jupiter was designed to be a versatile, offset-inspired all-arounder for use in both studio and live situations, enriched by series/parallel/single-coil switches. However, a deeper understanding of the instrument’s core feature came after receiving feedback, customer reviews, and hours of playing. Jupiter’s dynamic feedback creates enchanting mid-range forward projection, which blooms even stronger after striking each chord or note.
Based on the innovation era of the 1950s in the guitar industry and the development of space-age technologies, the double-horned instrument inspired Soothsayer to advance into modern standards. It features a canopy design for the output jack location, a quarter-sawn maple neck available as a standard for all variations, as well as flexible pickup routing configuration which allows to explore wider sonic pallets.
Our single-cut guitar, the ‘Smith,’ pays homage to the timeless designs of Ted McCarty and Paul Reed Smith, with pure Valiant in quality and sensation. We meticulously carved out ergonomic contours for unparalleled comfort. Starting with the classic 24.75” scale and a 12” radius ebony fingerboard, we took it to the next level with our features.

THIS GUITAR SHOULDN'T EXIST
I purchased a Jupiter 2nd hand as an impulse buy in 2021. I was so impressed that I had to have my own custom. Then I had to have another! I plan on getting many more! Thank you Valiant for building the best guitars I’ve ever played!
I just picked my Jupiter. I was worried at first bc there was no protection between the box and case. Guitar and case arrived perfect. Holy shit guys. Flamed maple binding was a surprise, outstanding paint job and colors. Feels, plays, and sounds phenomenal. Can not be happier.
Only thing was there wasn’t a tool for trussrod or other adjustments but that doesn’t bother me bc I have plenty.
I just sold my Fender Stratocaster Ultra to a friend that has been wanting it bc of this guitar.
I can’t wait to see the Smith. If that is your base product I can’t imagine the quality on your high end. Bravo Gents!!
It is a fantastic guitar, as well built as guitar can be built!
The guitar was exactly what I expected based on Phillip McKnight’s video. It was well built and the fretwork was immaculate. I can even bend the high note on the fret that has the truss rod adjuster with no issues. Putting the truss rod on the fret-board like that was a cool idea, I had never seen that before. No complaints and excellent work!
I’ve got a Mini Bass and I just love it! Simply fantastic! So easy to play the little beast. Love every thing about it. Color is super nice. The pickups give such a variety. Tone control is great also. Second day and loving it even more!
